The intent of Black Card’s Safety program is to extend our zero injury culture onto every job site in which we commit. Outlined in our safety program are our safety commitments, responsibilities and procedures that assist with our team’s execution of the policy.

It is a commitment of Black Card’s to always keep Safety a primary consideration on our job sites. We will do all that is necessary to provide a safe work place for our crew, fellow tradespeople and clients. By mandating the use of good safety practices on a daily basis we consciously uphold our Core Value of Wellness for our team within every work environment we commit ourselves.

Equipment safety promise

Daily Equipment inspections are paramount to ensure the safety of our team members. Tracking the condition and use of our equipment protects our team from preventative injuries by simply being proactive. Black card ensures all safety rules are being honored by supervising crew members with any equipment actively in use.

safety meetings promise

Daily safety meetings that align with the tasks of the workday are essential to protect our crew from foreseen exposures on site. It is imperative to communicate accurately and clearly to the crew about the work of other trades, conditions on site and our pathway of work to keep the crew members safe and focused.

commitment to ppe

as outlined above, ppe is a requirement for all live commercial projects. injuries incurred by discounting this rule is often times extensive and sometimes may be fatal. black card makes no exceptions to our ppe requirement on every project.

commitment to return the way you arrived

black card is committed to the safety of all team members. finishing the day in the same condition, or better, is the goal of every work day. we have a zero tolerance policy for any behaviors that interfere with our goal to maintain our ‘safety first & last’ environment.
