our roots: Who we are

Black Card was created in 2015 by two women with a mission to impact their community positively. Two women with backgrounds in the coatings industry set out to engage the construction market of North Carolina with one goal in mind: Bring positive energy to an industry historically known to be difficult to penetrate and even more difficult to excel in.

Since our genesis, Black Card has been able to accomplish every goal we’ve set season over season, year after year. Beginning with small commercial projects working as sub-contractors for larger companies we were able to build a better understanding of the construction industry, identify the resources necessary to excel and gain the experience needed to become a larger company.

Black Card proudly engages projects of all sizes; ranging from small informal jobs to larger projects above $500,000. We set out to treat all jobs with the same careful attention to detail and efficiency that reflects the essence of who we are.

With our extensive coatings knowledge and expertise carried into the genesis of Black Card, we are your experts on-site. We have been able to provide our clients with in-depth access to products, work conditions and warranty requirements in real time. With the experience attained, varying in degrees of difficulty, we have been able to accumulate an expansive list of project scenarios that aid us in providing the best solutions to all situations that arise.
